Terms and Conditions

  1. Tutorials are open to (i) students, (ii) researchers, (iii) faculty members of Nagoya University ONLY.
  2. Mei-Writing clients must possess a valid ID of Nagoya University.
  3. Tutorials are booked on an ONLINE APPOINTMENT basis. To make an appointment, please go to Tutorial Appointment page.
  4. Appointment can be made 2 business days prior to the tutorial session.
  5. Cancellation of a tutorial session MUST be notified as early as possible. (Note: Cancellation without notification will be blacklisted.)
  6. Mei-Writing reserves the right to cancel the appointment if the client is late for more than 10 minutes.
  7. Please bring a data file (preferably in Word format) and a hard copy of your writing when coming to the tutorial session. Please do not attach the file to the email.
  8. Each tutorial session lasts 45 minutes.
  9. Mei-Writing services DO NOT cover native check.
  10. Unless a good reason is given, a client should not apply for assistance with multiple instructors for the same material.
  11. You will be requested by email to fill out a feedback form after your tutorial service finishes.

Notes: Please know that you are welcome to use Mei-Writing services even though you have not completed or even started writing your paper. -You will be asked the following three questions during the first tutorial session:

  1. What is the goal of your research?
  2. What is the thesis statement of your research?
  3. How do you support the thesis statement?
