●本授業の目的およびねらい
The aim of this course is to give students some insights into and experience in

●授業内容
This course will emphasize oral presentations of an academic nature and will    

hopefully be of use to aspiring teachers and/or scholars.  Students will be     

required to select their own themes and to use them for mock classes and        

scholarly presentations.  Among the tools and teaching/presentation aids will   

be such things as chalk and blackboard and/or thick felt pens and whiteboard    

depending on the classroom assigned to the course, paper and other handouts,    

and PowerPoint, while the teaching/presenting student will need to be actively  

involved in each project (e.g. a student cannot simply show part of a movie     

and ask one or two questions about it).  The number of presentations each       

student will give will depend on the number of students in the course and the

●成績評価の方法
Presentations 50%, attendance 50%.  The reason for attendance counting so       

much is to ensure that there will be an audience for whoever is doing the       

presenting!

●注意事項
Come with ideas for what you would like to present, and be prepared to be       

flexible.  There are no predetermined themes, so the success of the course
