| 本授業の目的およびねらい | | | The aims of this course are to help students: 1) understand the structure and content of academic presentations in various fields; 2) build their confidence and ability to give presentations in English through repeated practice; 3) develop strategies for reading English-language academic journal articles; 4) customize presentations for general or specialist audiences. |

| 授業の構成 | | This course is open to undergraduate and graduate students. It reinforces concepts about the content and structure of academic presentations and aims to help students craft presentations that meet the standards of professional conferences. The course will have an active learning environment, and students will be expected to participate enthusiastically in group work, class discussion, and presentation feedback activities.
Students will have various options for presentation assignments. Each student will give two presentations and possibly more depending on the number of students enrolled in the course. Student presentations and several additional class sessions will take place in real time through Zoom. The remaining activities and assignments will be completed through the NUCT course page. |

| 成績評価の方法と基準 | | | Presentations (70%); Attendance, participation, and homework (30%). |
