●授業内容
In this course, students will critically evaluate texts for thesis statements. We will then analyze the strength of such statements and consider logical fallacies. Students will be guided to generate thesis statements of their own based on topics of their interest. We will then build essays from these statements. We will discuss how to find appropriate sources of evidence for our papers and how to cite such sources. Students will then revise their essays after the essays have been critically evaluated. Finally, students will turn one of their essays into a final paper.
