To increase listening comprehension, and confidence in communicating in basic English functions and to further activate the English language most students have already passively acquired.

Week 4: Time choices, time management, past times
Week 5: Health and lifestyle

Week 7: Talking about Family and Hometown
Week 8: Family Tree/Family History
Week 9-10: Talking about the past, High school days, childhood memories
Week 11: Talking about past experiences, Present perfect vs. simple past
Week 12 Holidays, Christmas and New year
Week 13-14: Technology, recent inventions, using the passive voice

50% classroom work, participation, final test/quiz
30% TOEFL-ITP, 20% Gyutto-e scores

●注意事項
対面授業に加え、課外学習として、英語（コミュニケーション）用「ぎゅっとｅ」リスニングを課し、その消化率に基づく評価を授業全体の評価の２０％とする。また、ＴＯＥＦＬ－ＩＴＰの成績（Ｌｉｓｔｅｎｉｎｇ、Ｓｔｒｕｃｔｕｒｅ）の評価を３０％とする。５回以上欠席をした場合、「欠席」の評価がつく。履修取り下げ制度は採用しない。
