●本授業の目的およびねらい
The purpose of this course is to teach students skills in writing academic papers, such as how to formulate thesis statements, what constitutes a good or effective thesis statement, how to organize your ideas, and so on.

●授業内容
We will deal with how to develop writing skills further in an academic context, and will learn how to further focus on writing concise topic sentences, forming paragraphs to support one’s arguments, and writing conclusions.

Students will be evaluated based on in-class participation, discussions, and also a final written report.
